It is my understanding that the parish council is against any development of York Field which the new Copmanthorpe link road passes through. But Copmanthorpe residents I've spoken to don't feel the same way. So I've decided to set up a poll on the subject.

A cycle path would go from the A64 Under pass to York Field Lane, creating an off-road route to the heart of Copmanthorpe.

A railway station would have road access and Car Parking on the Bishopthorpe side of the tracks, with pedestrian/cycle access for Copmanthorpe.

A housing estate would have road links to the new road, with pedestrian/cycle paths to York Field Lane.
